Curator's Note
Oil & Ink Provisions is an independent print and apparel studio creating wearable art rooted in identity, pride, rebellion, and craftsmanship. Every piece is designed as more than clothing—it is wearable art, a conversation, and a living archive for stories that deserve to be remembered.
History is too valuable to disappear.
For generations, LGBTQ+ communities built families, dance floors, neighborhoods, and movements that changed the world. Too many of those stories were never archived. Too many people grew up without ever seeing themselves reflected with dignity, beauty, or joy. We believe clothing can do more than make a statement. It can preserve one.
Every collection is created to honor the people who came before us—the dreamers, the rebels, the artists, the survivors, and the chosen families who carved out places where they could exist freely. By etching these forgotten stories into the very fabric of our garments, we transformed overlooked history into wearable art that invites people to see strength in themselves—and to recognize it in one another.
Whether these stories are your own or you're discovering them for the first time, welcome.
We hope you find something here that doesn't just fit your body, but speaks to your soul.
